“Our Journey from the Garden to Glory: Stages in our Journey from Alienation to Intimacy.”
This presentation will feature a series of metaphors for our relationship with God beginning with Potter and clay, moving to vine and branches, shepherd and sheep, Savior and beggar/penitent, Master and servant, parent and child, Co-Regent and co-heir with Christ, and finally Heavenly Bridegroom and bride. This will be a presentation of the key truth about each of these metaphors and the lie people are apt to believe that gets them stuck at a lower level than God intends.
