The Fellowship of Christian Counselors continues to be blessed with high quality presentations and training events. We are indeed fortunate to have so many talented members willing to share from their fields of expertise.
Please join us on the second Friday of each month from 7:15-9AM. Breakfast and fellowship begin at 7:15AM with a presentation at 8AM. Class II CEU's are available for Fellowship of Christian Counselor members.
Here is a glimpse of our topics for early summer:
June 10: "Being Still and Knowing God: For Ourselves and Our Clients"
Presented by: Stephen King, MS, LMFT
Taylor University Commons
This promises to be an inspiring and insightful discussion for all who recognize that we must first be "filled" before others can be "filled."
July 8: "The Impact of Nutrition and Heavy Metal Poisoning on Psychological Disorders"
Presented by: Greg Sowles, PsyD
Family Care Center, 2821 Hillegas Road, Fort Wayne, IN
Telephone: 260-471-1950
This discussion is "back by popular demand." In March, Dr Sowles shared his facinating findings with the group. In this "part two" of his presentation he will further explore how nutrition and heavy metal posoning may be the mising component in many currently diagnosed psychological disorders. Don't miss it.
